the fine print, kept simple
This is a small family-run site for a children's book series, and it's built to know as little about you as possible.
This site collects nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no accounts, no forms. Fonts and images are hosted on our own domain, so visiting doesn't ping third parties. The activity-page checkboxes live only in your browser and forget everything when you leave.
The only way to reach us is email (art@ and hello@ picklethebook.com), which forwards to a parent-managed family inbox. We use fan-art emails solely to post the drawing on the Art Wall with the artist's first name, and contact emails solely to reply. We never sell, share, or add addresses to any mailing list.
Fan-art submissions must come from a parent or guardian; sending a drawing confirms permission to display it. We publish first names only, and we never post photos of children or any identifying details (last name, age, school, location). If a drawing is ever sent with such details, we strip them, and we remove photo metadata from images before publishing. To have a drawing taken down at any time, email hello@picklethebook.com and we'll remove it promptly.
